Who is Clickteaching?
Clickteaching is an independent education publishing company based in the south of England, United Kingdom. We collect, store and manage personal data in the provision of a subscription service to schools and teachers allowing them to access a database of primary teaching resources.
What data do we collect?

- Financial Data which can include your debit/credit card information when purchasing a subscription
- Transaction Data which can include payments made when purchasing a subscription
- Technical Data which can include your Internet Protocol Address (IP), Internet browser type and any plugins, operating system and platform
- Usage Data which includes details of when you access the site and how you interact and make use of our service
- Marketing Data which includes your preferences as to how we may send you any marketing communications from ourselves
- Profile Data which includes your login information and records of any communications between yourself and Clickteaching regarding your operation and usage of the website
Clickteaching collects your personal data when you directly interact with our website by purchasing a subscription or by contacting us by email or post. This data is used to help us manage and administer the website.
During your usage of our site, you may perform a search of our data to find information relevant to your needs. We use FreeFind to manage the search services on our website. They keep a record of any search terms and queries. FreeFind provide us with reports of search terms and queries which helps us manage and administer our website. FreeFind do not keep a record of your username or IP address during the process of a search. The reports provided by FreeFind about any search terms and queries are anonymised.
How we use your data?
We only collect, store and manage personal data as applicable under law. All data processed by Clickteaching is only used to manage and administer the website. When you purchase a subscription with Clickteaching you enter into a contract that allows us to collect, store and manage your data to provide you with access to our teaching files. If you contact us by email or post you consent to us using your data to make a suitable reply to your query or request.
You can choose to opt-in to receive marketing communication from Clickteaching which provides information concerning changes and updates to the website. When you opt-in to this service you provide consent by providing us with the specific email address that you wish to use when receiving the marketing information. You can opt-out of this service at anytime by replying to one of our marketing messages or by contacting email@example.com
How is your data stored?
All of your data is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA).
We only retain store and retain your data only for as long as it is necessary to provide you with a subscription to our website. Once you account has expired, we do not store and retain a copy of your account information on the website. For legal and accounting purposes, we keep a record of your contact, identity, financial and transaction data for a period of seven years. This information is stored offline on an encrypted device.
How can you control and access your data?
You can manage and update the the login information for your account by clicking on the manage your account feature in the help section of the website when logged into your account. If you wish to manage and update your identity, contact and financial data then you need to access the FuturePay section of the WorldPay site. Information about how to access this section is contained within the help pages of the Clickteaching website. Clickteaching does not have access to the username and password required for managing your identity, contact and financial on WorldPay.
You can choose to withhold some of your data and information when purchasing a subscription to Clickteaching. However, this will mean that we will be unable to allow you to subscribe to our website and any information you have already entered will be deleted and then archived offline in an encrypted device.
If you wish us to delete your data and information then you can ask us to cancel your subscription. Your data and information will then be deleted from the website when your subscription expires or, immediately, if so requested. For legal and accounting purposes, your data will be then be stored offline in an encrypted device for a period of seven years,
If you wish we can send you a full copy of all of the data that Clickteaching holds about your account. There is no fee for this service and you should receive the requested data within 30 days, although this process might take longer if you are requesting data that has already been archived offline. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to receive a copy of the data held about you by Clickteaching.
How is your data shared?
Clickteaching only shares your data with carefully selected third party providers to assist with delivery of information and services to our website and for the processing of payments. All of these services process your data in accordance with the law. Some of these data transfers occur for services outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) but we have ensured that their usage of your data in in strict accordance with any applicable laws.
In certain special cases, we may disclose user information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with Clickteaching's rights, property or operations, other Clickteaching users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose user information when we believe the law requires it, or in response to any demand by law enforcement authorities in connection with a criminal investigation.
