    Resources English and Literacy

There are schemes of work for single aged and mixed aged classes in Key Stages One and Two covering the programmes of study for English in the National Curriculum and the Foundation Stage Framework for reception aged classes.

All of the schemes of work comes complete with daily lesson plans, teaching resources and interactive PowerPoints. The plans cover different types of fiction, non-fiction and poetry to develop the children's literacy skills across a range of concepts and genres. You can either choose to follow the plans in sequence or you can select individual blocks and topics to match the needs of your class.

There are also thousands of individual lessons and teaching activities that cover every topic and theme in the National Curriculum which you can use to support your classroom planning and develop your own schemes of work. Each lesson comes complete with any necessary teaching resources and Interactive PowerPoints to reinforce skills and teach key concepts.

Our English Extra teaching resources provide a set of sequenced and differentiated lessons on special themes and topics to provide additional ideas for classroom activities. These lesson plans come complete with a teaching sequence, classroom activity resources and interactive PowerPoints. There are also a number of fiction, non-fiction and poetry texts that can be used for guided reading and comprehension activities.

Our Spagstar scheme of works provides extra practise and guidance in the teaching of spelling, punctuation and grammar using a sequence of short focused tasks and activities.

    Resources Maths and Numeracy

You can access schemes of work for single aged and mixed aged classes in Key Stages One and Two covering the programmes of study for Maths in the National Curriculum and the Foundation Stage Framework for reception aged classes. to help teach the National Curriculum for Maths.

Each weekly plan comes complete with any necessary resources to teach each activity as well as interactive PowerPoints to test understanding and knowledge and reinforce key concepts. You can either choose to follow the plans in sequence or you can select individual blocks and topics to match the needs of your class as they progress through the school year.

There are also thousands of individual lesson plans and teaching activities which cover the programmes of study for number and place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations, fractions, measurement, geometry and statistics. Each activity contains all of the necessary resources and interactive PowerPoints to teach particular skills and concepts. Our lesson plans are easy to adapt to match the range of abilities in your class.

Our Maths Champion resources can be used as an alternative to our main schemes of work to help the children master all aspects of the programmes of study in the National Curriculum for Maths. You can either follow our recommended teaching sequence or select your own order of lessons to match your classroom teaching. Each learning goal comes complete with full lesson plans and matching activity resources.

    Resources Curriculum Subjects and Classroom Topics

There are sequenced sets of lesson plans in art and design, design technology, geography, history, languages, music, physical education and science for single aged and mixed aged classes in Key Stages One and Two covering the programmes of study in the National Curriculum and the Foundation Stage Framework for reception aged classes.

Each activity includes a detailed lesson plan with an outline of suggested matching classroom teaching activities. The lesson plans are supported by teaching worksheets and activity ideas as well as Interactive PowerPoints to teach the knowledge and skills for a particular topic or subject concept in art and design, design technology, geography, history, languages, music, physical education and science.

You can also access sets of lesson plans for Religious Education covering a range of topics and themes including the beliefs and practices of different world religions. There are also a number of teaching ideas for class and whole school assemblies on a range of topics and themes such as stories from the Bible and ways to provide support to different communities.

We also have thousands of teaching activities and lessons covering special celebrations and festivals throughout the year such as Christmas and Easter. There are also activities to match significant events in the school calendar such as the start and end of a school year. Each lesson plan provides guidance for classroom activities as well as any necessary resources and Interactive PowerPoints to reinforce teaching and develop the children's knowledge and understanding.
